- Introduction
- By using this website and booking travel services to Bhutan, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
- These terms apply to all travelers, bookings, and services provided by Devas Travels & Trails.
- Eligibility
- Travelers must be of legal age (18+) to book travel services.
- All travelers must ensure they have valid travel documents (passport, visa, voter ID, birth certificate, etc.) before traveling to Bhutan.
- Booking Process
- All bookings require a deposit, and full payment must be made before the departure date.
- You will receive a confirmation email once your booking has been processed and confirmed.
- The company will issue a confirmation voucher only after receiving a 30% advance payment of the total cost.
- The remaining 70% of the total payment must be made before the tour begins.
- Bhutan has a minimum daily tariff requirement set by the government Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) payment of $200 per person per day (for non-Indian nationals) or INR 1200/- per person per day (for Indian nationals).
- All travelers must meet this requirement for tourism, including the fee for a licensed tour guide.
- Visa and Travel Documents
- Bhutan requires all foreign visitors to obtain a visa. We will assist with obtaining the visa, but the final approval is from the Bhutanese Department of Immigration.
- Travelers must ensure that their passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond their intended departure date from Bhutan.
- Valid passport/Voter ID (original) with printed copies.
- Two Xerox copies of the original documents.
- Children under 15 can carry a birth certificate (in English) if they don’t have a passport, but must be traveling with their parents.
- Two recent passport-size photos.
- Travel Insurance
- We recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for medical expenses, trip cancellations, loss of luggage, and unforeseen emergencies.
- Health and Safety
- Travelers must comply with all health and safety requirements, including vaccination and COVID-19 protocols, as prescribed by Bhutanese authorities.
- Travelers should disclose any pre-existing medical conditions to the travel agency before booking.
- Local Laws and Customs
- Travelers must respect Bhutanese laws, traditions, and customs during their stay. Failure to do so may result in fines, penalties, or immediate deportation at the traveler’s expense.
- Liability
- While Devas Travels & Trails makes every effort to provide accurate information and reliable services, we do not accept liability for any loss, damage, injury, or death that may occur during the trip.
